Task/Problem Overview
This article will discuss how to remove tax from an item. This means that when an item is
Non-taxable, Sales Tax will not be calculated for that item.
Subtitle Removing Tax from an Item
To start a user will navigate to Inventory > Inventory Manager > Item Manager and search for the item.
On the Inventory tab, a user will navigate to the middle of the screen, underneath the Comment and Warehouse Msg fields. From here, the user will hover over the Sales Taxable checkbox and deselect the checkmark.
A user can now Save the record to finalize the changes.
